Costa Rica Challenge for Animals in Need

Costa Rica Challenge · 21 April 2025 to 28 April 2025 ·
In April 2025, I’ll be joining a dedicated team of animal lovers to embark on an incredible challenge in Costa Rica, hiking 60km through Corcovado National park and then exploring the beautiful Osa Peninsula. As a veterinary nurse with a deep passion for both travel and volunteering, I’ve always been committed to supporting animals in need. This journey is not only a personal adventure but also an opportunity to raise vital funds for the International Aid for the Protection and Welfare of Animals (IAPWA).
The donations we raise will directly support IAPWA’s life-changing work across the globe, particularly the amazing projects they are running in areas such as Penang Island, Borneo, and Romania. IAPWA has been instrumental in ending the dog culls in Penang, helping over 7,000 dogs so far. In Borneo, they are working to support a local sanctuary and build an Animal Welfare Centre, aiming to make a lasting impact on the lives of thousands of dogs and cats. In Romania, their mobile veterinary clinics are providing essential care to countless stray animals. Any contribution, big or small, will be truly appreciated and will help make a significant difference to animals in need.
