On 6th June, my mum & I are going to embark on a great adventure to summit Mount Snowdon in Wales!

This has always been a dream of mine to one day climb a mountain and experience the breath taking views along the way. There is something special about being at one with nature and the things it can do for your physical and mental health.

Obviously this is something I have never done before, so I want to make it even more special by raising money to a charity really close to my heart CARA.

CARA (Centre for Action on Rape and Abuse) works with victims and survivors of sexual violence and child sexual abuse, providing independent, specialist support and promoting and representing their rights and needs.

CARA works with almost 2000 victims and survivors of all ages and all genders from across mid and north Essex each year, providing a range of high quality, specialist services.

I have personally used CARA 3 times over the past 8 years and I honestly do not know how I would have coped without them. So to me it is really important that I am able give something back for all they have done for me and allow them to continue their amazing work with victims who are brave enough to speak out.

Me and Mum really appreciate any money that can kindly be donated to this wonderful and life saving charity! Because every victim of rape and abuse deserves a safe space to talk and somewhere to be heard and somewhere to seek help so they can finally begin to heal. Thank you with all my heart ❤️🙏
