Cosy Coats provides warm, brand new and fashionable winter coats and shoes to children in the UK.

Story

In 2 months time I, along with my friend James, will be walking the 96 miles that make up the epic West Highland Way trail.

If 96 miles in 6 days wasn’t a challenge enough the trail is set to test us even more, as the route takes us through the mountainous terrain of Scotland's highlands - we will have the opportunity to scale Conic Hill and Ben Nevis.

For the last few months I've been training away, and now I finally feel confident enough to think I can make it. Whilst it's already a privilege I wanted to do it for an amazing charity - Cosy Coats.

Cosy Coats have a very simple objective - to provide children in need with a warm and clean coat. By providing that coat it not only helps keep that child warm and dry but also helps support their self-esteem. The charity is supported by some amazing volunteers so 100% of any and all donations go direct to providing the coats.

I would be very grateful if you are able to support me with my quest to raise funds and awareness for this small but impactful charity, so please do what you can.

I will be posting up regularly on how the training is going, and how we progress on our attempt to complete the 96 miles in 6 days.

If anyone has any tried and tested training tips, please do share.

Thanks for your support

Laurent
