Anyone who has experienced the service from The Ayrshire Hospice will vouch that they are real life angels. The support and kindness before and after my Dad’s passing blew us away.

During grief I have found running to be a form of therapy so to be able to combine my 1/2 marathon goal, honouring my Dad and giving back to the Ayrshire Hospice feels right as we approach the one year Anniversary in April.

The Ayrshire Hospice are a charity providing compassionate care, comfort, and support to people across Ayrshire and Arran who are living with a life-limiting illness. Every day, the team delivers specialist palliative and end-of-life care - while also offering vital support to their families and loved ones.

It costs £25,000 a day to run the Ayrshire Hospice, and with just 41% of funding coming from the NHS, they rely on the kindness of people like you to continue the work.m
