Story

I am beyond excited to share that i’ll be travelling to Uganda to help build a park for a local school, and i’d love for you to be part of this incredible journey! Many of you know how much i love to travel, but this trip is especially close to my heart. It’s a chance to experience a completely different culture and to see first-hand how resilient, joyful children can be, even when faced with challenges that seem unimaginable.

This opportunity will undoubtedly change my perspective on life, and i hope it will have the same impact on you too. By donating to this page, youll be supporting PlayAction International in their mission which raises up to £750,000 which helps the building of 16 parks a year. Your contribution will help to provide a space where children can play, learn, and grow, something many of us take for granted. Thank you so much for your support- together, were making a real difference!!

Our awesome and dedicated team of volunteers will be heading to Uganda in summer 2025! We will be transforming an empty field at a local school into a vibrant playground so that children can access a childhood!

Your generous support will enable Play Action International to create a legacy of play within the local community where so that we can create an environment where children's development and well-being are supported and children are able to learn essential skills that will allow them to reach their potential. Join us in creating a legacy of play, laughter, growth, and endless possibilities.

Our playgrounds and play programmes bring about remarkable changes:

- 98% of schools report increase in pupil attendance.

- 74% of children give 'The Playground' as a reason to attend school.

- 83% of teachers report improvements in children's attention and behaviour in classes.

Donate to play a key role in supporting our fundraisers to ensure these amazing projects can happen, ensuring that every swing, slide, and moment of fun in the classroom contributes to a brighter future for disadvantaged children at school and in the wider community. We're incredibly grateful for your support!
