I am running the 2024 London Marathon with #TeamRedCross to support the British Red Cross' mission to provide anyone, anywhere in the world, the help they need in a crisis.

As many of you are probably aware, my partner (Charis) works for the Red Cross. She's an inspiration and it's amazing to see the difference her work makes in the local community. As a proud partner, I want to do my part to help!

Across the world, emergencies like floods, droughts, conflicts, food shortages and rising living costs are putting lives and livelihoods in danger.

With teams working in 192 countries, they are uniquely placed to respond when disasters happen. They make is their mission to help people prepare for, deal with, and recover from a crises - wherever and whoever they may be.

The British Red Cross also have a significant and often unknown localness, providing services such as Mobility Aids, Independent Living, Crisis Response and Refugee Services across the UK.

Critically, the British Red Cross is the UK's largest independent provider of services for refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants. They offer emergency help, one-to-one support and casework, special services for children and families, and family reunions.

Donating to the British Red Cross is one of the best ways to help people who are facing these crises get the support they urgently need.
