Story

OMG! What have I done?! Is this really happening? Can I really do this totally bonkers thing?!

Yes I've signed up for the Barnstaple Marathon and Half Marathon for Children's Hospice South West which provides vital care and support to children, young people and their families across the South West.

I am running the full 26 mile marathon distance for the first time ever. To run a full marathon has been a personal goal for nearly 18 years and now is the time to achieve that goal!

B-R-I-N-G I-T O-N! L-E-T's D-O T-H-I-S!!

To add to my own personal celebration of this achievement I am trying to raise a few pounds and pence for a great local charity...

Children's Hospice South West provide hospice care for children and young people living with life-limiting conditions and their whole family. With Hospice breaks, emergency care, palliative care and end of life care at 3 wonderful children's hospices; Little Bridge House in Devon, Charlton Farm in Somerset and Little Harbour in Cornwall the incredible staff help children and families make the most of short and precious lives.

If you can, please sponsor me and CHSW a few quid or whatever you can afford.

In return, I promise you I will push myself to achieve the full 26 miles to the best of my ability come rain or shine on the day!

Thank you for your support and contribution.
