Lace Up Your Support for the Countryside! ‍

Hey everyone, guess what? This year, I'm not just pounding the pavement of the London Marathon, I'm pounding the fundraising drum for the Countryside Alliance Foundation!

For those who know me, annual marathons are my thing. But this year, I'm upping the ante by asking for your support. Why? Because the Foundation's work goes way beyond the beautiful landscapes – it's about empowering people, protecting rural communities, and fostering a love for the great outdoors.

Think of it like a hidden gem in the charity world. They're connecting kids with nature through Fishing for Schools, helping cancer survivors find solace in the countryside through Castaway, and championing the traditions and skills that make rural life so special.

Fishing for Schools takes disadvantaged children and young people out of the classroom, helping build confidence, gain new skills and a sense of achievement through fishing. Now in its 16th year, over 3,800 young people have benefitted from taking part.

But here's the thing, I can't do it alone. My legs are strong, but my fundraising muscles need a little workout. That's where you come in! Every pound you donate will fuel my run and help the Foundation continue their incredible work.
