The British Red Cross, a charity incorporated by Royal Charter 1908, helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are. And when the crisis is over, we help them to recover and move on with their lives.

Story

Ruth Elsworth (nurse), Jimmy Hipperson (pharmacist), Hannah Harper (GP) & Hannah Fox (GP) from Lawson Road Surgery are running the London Marathon 2024 for the Red Cross.

When you see a major emergency in the news, it’s likely that the British Red Cross are helping those affected. From earthquakes to armed conflict, from fires to floods, in the UK and abroad, across 192 countries, applying local knowledge and global expertise to save lives and provide comfort.

HF: ‘I have an interest in refugee health, and run a monthly mental health clinic in Norwich. We work closely with many community organisations including the Red Cross. Their support for people seeking sanctuary and safety in Norfolk is invaluable and I am excited to be able to to fundraise for this brilliant charity.’

Please give generously to support this valuable cause.
