Every year over 150 children are diagnosed with cancer. Our lives were turned around when one of these children was my brother. He was 15 years old and died by the age of 16.

Candlelighters charity helped support our family through Aidans cancer. Their mission is to help provide some light to every family affected by childhood cancer. They provide emotional, physical and financial support as well as bringing hope, by investing in vital research to improve the outcomes and lives of children with cancer.

Candlelighters bought a brand new laptop for Aidan whilst he basically lived in hospital to give him something to keep his mind off his treatment . They received no government funding so rely 100% by donations.

I will be running a 9.3 kilometre loop of pen-y-Ghent which has 1600ft of climb - continuously for 24 hours.
