Our daughter Layla is so excited to be taking part in the TCS Mini Marathon Schools Event on Saturday 25th April, where she’ll be running the 1-mile race through central London and finishing at the iconic London Marathon finish line.

She was lucky enough to take part two years ago and achieved one of the best times for her age group, which made us incredibly proud. She loved the experience so much that she couldn’t wait to do it all over again!

This time, she’s not only taking on the challenge for herself, but also to raise money for her school’s PTA, which supports so many important parts of school life. The funds raised help provide new equipment and technology, arts and music opportunities, books (including support for children with dyslexia), playground improvements, and enriching trips and activities for all the children.

She’s been training hard in the lead-up to the race and is really excited (with a few nerves!) to be part of such a special day again.
