Dear friends,

In order to support fundraising efforts for the Mandala project, a group of unassuming optimists from the Sangha aim to cycle from the LBC to Brighton... which is roughly 100km! They vary in fitness levels so this will be quite the challenge (for some of them anyway!).

The cycling unit includes: Akashamitra , Danny, Steve Whitely, Thomas, Lubos, Nemo and JZ.

The Mandala Project will provide a place to eat together and meet friends between classes, as well as offer a programme of music and art events within a welcoming atmosphere. It will enable us all to build connections in the Sangha and share the Dharma life more fully.

Essentially, it is a very worthwhile endeavour and set to be a real boon for the London Buddhist Centre community.

Your donation is greatly appreciated and will be very motivating once the group passes kilometre 80, when the hills start to become more abundant.

We will post a photo of us in front of the centre in the morning, and then (hopefully) one from the beach in Brighton.
