Snowdon Trek 2023 for The Robin Cancer Trust

Snowdon Trek 2023 · 8 July 2023
As you may or may not know, as I have been going on about it for a while 😊 I will be taking on my first challenge of the year by climbing Snowdon on the 8th July in aid of The Robin Cancer Trust.
I don’t do hill walking, let alone mountains, so this is really putting me outside my comfort zone. I’m also climbing it on my birthday, so I’m really glutton for punishment, and the only thing getting me up there and down is the thought of cake at the bottom 😃
Martyn will also be joining me on this little challenge, but I'm not sure if he's coming to support me, or hoping to claim from the life insurance 😃
The Robin Cancer Trust raises awareness by educate young people on the signs & symptoms of testicular and ovarian cancers through their award-winning digital campaigns and lifesaving educational programmes. As one thing I’ve learnt since picking them for my charity of the year was that ‘THE SMEAR TEST DOES NOT DETECT OVARIAN CANCER’
They also provide free materials to newly diagnosed young people going through treatment, helping to make the most difficult time of their life a little easier.
They use your donations in ways that allow they to reach the most young people with our life-saving message.
£10 – allows their awareness campaigns to reach thousands of young people online.
£25 – enables them to send a care package to a young person recently diagnosed with cancer.
£50 – allows them to deliver a life-saving educational talk to students at school, college or university.
Any donation, big or small is welcome, as every little helps!
