Story
Help Lucy Cavendish College Boat Club raise money for (well-needed!) new equipment! Rowers and alumni are getting together for 24 HOURS of rowing on the Erg machines.
LCCBC has to regularly compete against boat clubs that get up to 90 times more funding. Our successes, therefore, rely greatly on donations and support from alumni and our extended Lucy family. Thanks to a generous donation from the Hefferon Family, we recently built our well-used and much loved Hefferon Suite, which has helped bridge the gap between LCCBC and other colleges that have boat houses. Following last year's fundraiser we have also managed to purchase a new set of oars for the women's side, which helped W1 on their way to blades this Lent bumps! Money was also set aside to help us to buy a new men's 8 boat, Todd, to replace Rennie which was over 20 years old. We are endlessly grateful for this support, but we always need more help!
Any donation is much appreciated!
