Donations in support of PAPAYA, Parents Against Phone Addiction in Young Adolescents

Andrew Cockburn is raising money for PAPAYA Parents Against Phone Addiction in Young Adolescents
PAPAYA deliver workshops and talks in schools to both key stage 2/3 students and their parents. Tackling the tough topics of addiction, mental trauma, concerns and behaviours introduced by the use of modern technology and the unregulated social media and open forums accessible via the internet.

Story

This is a page to accept donations for the digital health sessions for both children and parents/carers at Little Chalfont Primary School (or guests from outside the school who are attending the sessions).

These events are being run by the charity PAPAYA (Parents Against Phone Addiction in Adolescents). Your support will allow them to cover the costs of the sessions that they run and to continue running classes and events to help more children develop a healthy relationship with technology.

PAPAYA will be running sessions for each KS2 class at Little Chalfont called "Me and my screen: how to get a healthy balance with technology."

They will also be running a session for parents, carers and teachers called "Parenting in the Digital Age."

There is a cost of £150 for this session and so we will be asking attendees to contribute £5-10 if you’re joining us (or more if you'd like to support PAPAYA more!). All proceeds above £150 will go to Papaya.

Justgiving will ask you to pay a fee to Justgiving. You are free to enter zero in this box so that you don't have to use their service.

Once you donate, Justgiving will send your money directly to the charity.
