LCS Goes Pink for Kim 🩷
On Friday 23 October, the Liverpool City Sights team will be swapping our usual colours for PINK as we take part in Breast Cancer Now’s Wear It Pink 2026.
This year, the cause is particularly close to our hearts.
One of our much-loved and long-serving tour guides, Kim, is currently battling breast cancer. Anyone who has worked with us or travelled on one of Kim’s tours will know the warmth, humour and personality she brings to Liverpool City Sights.
So this October, we’re going pink for her. 🩷
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. Around 55,000 women and 400 men are diagnosed every year, and 1 in 7 women will develop breast cancer during their lifetime.
Throughout October, the LCS team will be raising as much money as we possibly can for Breast Cancer Now, helping to fund vital research and support for people affected by breast cancer.
We’ll be fundraising across the business, including:
🩷 Wearing pink across LCS on Friday 23 October
🧁 A staff bake sale
🚌 Fundraising and donation collections on our buses
🎟️ Raffles and fundraising challenges
📱 QR codes across our buses so our passengers can donate too
🩷 And hopefully plenty more!
We’re incredibly proud to support Kim and everyone else whose life has been affected by breast cancer.
Whether it’s £1, £5 or £50, every donation helps.
Let’s turn Liverpool pink for Kim. 🩷
With love from everyone at Liverpool City Sights x
