Every year we try to encourage as many people as possible to help remember our friend. This is our 6th version of Le Tour de Fran, and sadly our 5th without Fran.

In April 2020 after Francis Eddolls was diagnosed with incurable brain cancer we came together as a community to get active during lockdown and raise money for Fran, Carina, Holly and Archie. There are no words to describe the event, it was simply incredible. The community spirit that came together for one of its own was magical.

As most will know, Fran sadly passed away on 13 July 2020.

In April 2021 we returned with the second tour, it was the first Le Tour De Fran since Fran had passed away. It was different to the first one, but just as important and a great way to remember and honour our friend.

As per the recent Le Tour de Fran events, this will be run in the same format.

Anyone can participate, any activity you like, as many times as you like over the weekend. We are looking to create new experiences and memories.

There's no distance goals or tracking, so no pressure on working all the time; our thinking is take some time to think of Fran, and family if you know them.

So whatever you do, please share on the page, memories, thoughts, encouraging others - that's the real value to the family.
