Lea's Skydive for The Alzheimer's Society

Skydive · 26 July 2025
Anyone who knows me well should know that I make it my mission, both personally and professionally to see and hear people living with Dementia. To make sure they receive individualised support, care and are treated with respect and understanding. I want to be their voice for change and fundraise in the hope for a cure.
I am passionate that those people who live with this disease be cared for and listened to so that Dementia does not become their full stop.
I work for Coverage Care Services as a Development and Support Manager. Coverage Care celebrates its 30th anniversary this year and as part those celebrations I have decided to fundraise by jumping out of a plane from 13000ft and commit to making a difference. The team as a whole are commited to making a difference doing various events throughout the summer.
I am scared, of course I am, but I truly believe the fear I feel is in no comparison to somebody being diagnosed with a disease of which there is currently no cure for!
I will dig deep on the day, with support from my family, friends and colleagues, throw myself out (strapped to someone very qualified) and think of the money raised and how it can help.
Please support my efforts by donating to this page, every penny raised will go directly to the charity so they can complete further research. I keep everything crossed that both my jump experience and the hope for a cure can be acheived.
I want to say thank you, your support is appreciated. I will of course keep everyone updated with photo's and i'm sure as always with me, there will be a tale to tell over a much needed cup of tea/glass of vino.
Wish me luck!
