Story
I am honored to be running this race in memory of my beloved aunt, who fought so bravely against breast cancer. Life has a way of giving us signs, and this feels like one of them: after being unable to get a place in the race months ago, I was notified that a spot had opened on the very day of my aunt’s beautiful service, for a race that supports cancer research, of all things. 🩷
The Institute of Cancer’s mission is to make the discoveries that defeat cancer. Their vision is that people can live their lives free of cancer as a life-threatening disease. Please support their work and help us defeat cancer.
