After 2 miscarriages a few years back now, my mum has only just been diagnosed with APS, an autoimmune disease which, if it had been spotted earlier, could have prevented the loss of 2 pregnancies. I am running the Manchester and Cardiff 10km runs next week in hope to raise money and awareness for this underrepresented illness.
