MYMY (Mind Your Mate and Yourself) is a voluntary and community sector counselling organisation, with extensive experience in suicide prevention and intervention.

The aim of the organisation is to provide support to families and communities dealing with various health issues as well as providing services that will help support individuals.

As a finalist for Miss Northern Ireland 2023, I am participating in the ‘Beauty with a purpose’ campaign which allows me to raise money and awareness for my chosen charity. I have decided to raise money for MyMy as it aligns directly with my values as a student mental health nurse. Getting to meet so many people with many different stories and backgrounds is so special to me and I think it’s so important everyone has access the right support. Raising money for MyMy will allow me to give back and help raise awareness around the support available.
