Story

I’m taking on the Brighton Marathon again this year to raise money for Spinal Research, a cause incredibly close to my heart. I signed up last year but unfortunately had to pull out after hurting my leg — a huge disappointment. But I promised myself I’d come back stronger, and here I am, ready to try again.

Spinal Research is a charity that means a lot to me. i'm running in support of my mum and everyone affected by spinal cord injuries. In 2020, my mum’s life changed forever when she suffered a spinal injury. It was a devastating moment for our family, and the journey since has been incredibly challenging. But despite everything, she continues to show unbelievable strength, courage and resilience.

The money raised will help fund vital research, new treatments and better support for people living with spinal cord injuries. The work Spinal Research is doing is genuinely extraordinary, and I’d love to play even a small part in helping move things forward.

Any donation, big or small, would mean so much. And if you can’t donate, just sharing the page helps more than you’d think.

Thank you for reading and for supporting a cause that means the world to me, and for supporting my incredible mum. ❤️

Every two hours, someone in the UK will become paralysed. Globally, it is estimated that 15.4 million people are living with paralysis. It can happen to anyone at any time, changing lives instantly.

We fund groundbreaking research that will cure paralysis, ensuring people living with spinal cord injuries will get life-changing treatments.

The science is here and progressing rapidly, but what we need now is the funding to accelerate this groundbreaking research for the millions affected in the UK and across the globe.

With your help, we can #CureParalysis.
