Team: 24 Hour Bikeathon- Fundraising for Samaritans & East Anglia Air Ambulance

24 Hour Bikeathon · 25 July 2026

We are East Anglian Air Ambulance. A charity providing lifesaving critical care, 24/7, every day of the year across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. Whether by air or road, we’re there for the most seriously ill and injured, when every second counts.

Story

My name is Leah Falzarano, I am the founder of Notion To Now, the personal training business in St Neots.

On the 25th/26th July, I will be hosting a 24 hour Bikeathon to raise money for Samaritans and East Anglia Air Ambulance.

Each emergency response by East Anglia Air Ambulance costs an average of £4,250 per mission. They rely almost entirely on public donations to do their work and they don’t receive regular government funding.

What they offer is so important, it is 24/7 lifesaving critical care, when every second counts. Regardless of health, you never know when you or a loved one will be in need of their specialist doctors and paramedics that bring hospital-level treatment straight to the scene across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk.

I will be hosting this event with the help of the Manic Run Club team that was formed earlier this year by myself, Jas singh, Matt Jones & Alfie Edwards.

We aim to run a social event that welcomes everyone and relies on our community working together as well as inviting independent local businesses to partake, donate and attend.
