🌸 Walking 13.1 Miles in Memory of My Beautiful Nanna 🌸

Hi everyone,

On 14/09/2025, myself and my family will be taking part in the 13.1 mile walk for Myton Hospice, in loving memory of my beautiful Nanna 💜

Go big or go home, from 6 miles I'm challenging myself to 13.1. Gardner is completing a half marathon🤪

Many off you will know how brave and strong my nanna was, not only in her last few days but her entire life. She was that strong she surpassed the 5 years she was given when I was born, i was never really suppose to have none her. Little did I know i would get 25 years to build the most beautiful unbreakable bond with her. She was so selfless and would put anyone before herself, even asking about my Dan the day before she died asking how he was. I will cherish every conversation and will tell Dan how he got her approval. As many off you know it's been a tough year and this walk means the world to me—not just because it supports the incredible Myton Hospice, but because the walk falls on what would have been my Nanna’s birthday. It’s the perfect way to honour her memory. Even some of my childhood memories of her would be in Myton Hospices or their shops, she had the biggest heart, especially for Myton so she would be so proud of any money raised.

My Nanna received the most compassionate, dignified care from Myton Hospice in her final days. Their kindness, professionalism, and warmth brought comfort to both her and our whole family at the hardest time.

I want to give something back to help others experience the same level of care and love. Every step I take is for her—and for the families still going through what we did.
