Story
On April 26th, 2026, I’ll be running the London Marathon to raise money for Mind, a mental health charity that supports people who are struggling — in loving memory of my beautiful mum.
After watching her battle with depression and psychosis for four long years, I saw firsthand the devastating impact that mental health challenges can have on individuals and families. The NHS is overstretched, and charities like Mind play a vital role in providing essential support, resources, and hope.
Mind works tirelessly to fund research, raise awareness, and break down the stigma that still surrounds mental health. It’s time to talk about the things that are often whispered — mental health, depression, and suicide — and to acknowledge that these are real issues affecting so many people.
Losing my mum has been heartbreaking, and every day since has been a struggle. Nothing comes easy anymore — but I know I’m not alone. That’s why I’m running. I want to prove to myself, and to others, that you can do hard things.
Your donation will help Mind continue its vital work — supporting those in crisis, funding research into better treatments, and helping to make sure that no one faces mental health challenges alone.
If you’re able to donate, thank you — every amount truly counts.
And if you’re not able to donate, your kindness, encouragement, and support mean the world to me.
It costs nothing to be kind, but it can change lives. ❤️
