Story
Mud Run 2026 is back, and this year, myself, Alishia and Craig are super proud to take on the Sponsored Mud Run 2026 - The Nuts 5K Challenge on Friday 24th April. This event is more than just a personal challenge; it’s a heartfelt mission to support those affected by Multiple Sclerosis (MS), a cause that is deeply personal to me and my community.
MS is a complex neurological condition impacting the brain and spinal cord, affecting over 130,000 people across the UK. It often strikes individuals in their prime—those in their thirties, forties, and fifties—and sometimes even younger. The symptoms vary widely but can include loss of balance, stiffness, speech difficulties, fatigue, pain, and challenges with mental health and memory. For many living with MS, the condition progressively worsens over time, increasing their need for support and care.
There is currently no cure for MS; however, treatments and therapies such as exercise, physiotherapy, and oxygen therapy provide vital relief. These services are available at the Samson Centre and make a significant difference in improving quality of life.
I am reaching out today to ask for your generous support. Every donation helps us move closer to our target of £200 to fund essential therapies and research that bring hope to those battling MS every day. Your kindness will empower individuals facing this challenging journey with strength and resilience.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for standing with us in this fight. Together, we can make a meaningful impact—one step at a time.
