Story

I have been very fortunate enough to have been given the opportunity to run London Marathon 2024 on behalf of the RNLI.

My Dad sadly passed away in November 2020 and he was a lifelong supporter of the RNLI and donated to the charity on a regular basis. He wanted to support a charity whereby he knew his donation would go towards the hard work and dedication of the volunteers and crew.

My family and I have always lived by the sea and know the vital importance this charity has given to us and those that live by the sea saving lives and keeping us all safe.

All events that I undertake over the next few months whether it be running, swimming, cycling or a combination of the three will be in support of the RNLI.

I will be running in memory of my Dad and his yellow submarine will be with me throughout my marathon journey. 💙

Any donation that you can give will be gratefully received.

Thank you

Leah

RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.
