Ten of us are running the @brightonhalfmarathon in aid of The Chayse West Legacy. The ten consist of Chayse's friends and family including mum, brother, Nan, uncle, cousins and family friend most of which couldn’t even run for a bus let alone run a half marathon until training began. Each of us running for our own “why” each of us smashing our training in our own ways! Chayse always said to me “I’ll get you fit mum!” and he’s certainly doing his best at that!

We run in aid of Chayses Legacy to support bereaved families like us. “We can’t stop the downpour but we will always join you for a walk in the rain”.

Chayse was tragically killed in a hit and run in September 2022 at just 18 years old, just trying to get home after a night out. He was the life and soul of the party, could light up any room that he walked into and we want to continue to spread some of his infectious sparkle. Forever our missing piece!
