In London, 400 thousand children and 1.4 million adults face food insecurity, while nearly 10 million tonnes of food go to waste annually in the UK. The Felix Project is dedicated to addressing this issue by ensuring that no good food is wasted and by providing essential nourishment to those in need, including children, families, the homeless, the elderly, domestic violence survivors, refugees, and more. This includes my own primary school, John Perryn Primary, where The Felix Project delivers food every single week of the year, benefitting both the school and the community.
