I'm taking part in the 2025 Sheffield Half Marathon to raise money for Sheffield Futures. It can be really hard to be a young person growing up in today's society. The tragic events which took place in the city this week not only shocked us all but made us realise nowhere is safe and how our children need all the protection and help they can get to help them succeed in life. From smartphones and social media to public service cuts, there are many challenges and not enough resources to help them.

Sheffield Futures is a young people's charity that has supported young people in Sheffield and South Yorkshire for 30 years. From employability support and personalised careers guidance, through to mental health and wellbeing support, their work provides young people with a sense of hope, belonging, and safety in an increasingly complex world.

So come on please help me reach my target and raise money for young people to have a brighter future, any donation is appreciated.
