On Sunday the 12th of April 2026, I will be attempting to run the Paris Marathon, which will mark my first marathon ever. It has been a long training program, enduring some particularly rainy months, but the date is fast approaching! As part of this challenge, I see it as a great opportunity to raise funds for a good cause such as that of Prodigal Bikes.

Prodigal Bikes is a charity based in Crewkerne, Somerset, dedicated to supplying refurbished bikes, spare parts, and tools both in the UK and rural Africa. They also provide training for disengaged people in the West Country area in basic hands-on engineering as they refurbish the bikes together. These bikes are essential for improving access to education, healthcare, and employment opportunities within communities in Kenya, Malawi, and Tanzania.
