Hi everyone!

Some of you may know I’ve recently lost a very close family member who I adored very much. In his memory I will be running the Manchester marathon in April - and also two half marathons before this. All funds raised will go to the hospice that looked after him just before he passed. This will help them support other families and give their patients all the care they need.

Howard was one of a kind , quick-tempered at times, but with the biggest heart you could imagine . He cared for the people around him, and I’ll always treasure the countless funny stories and childhood adventures (and mischief!) we shared together. Hiding from Grandma in shopping centres, Ganging up on Colette for kicking her flip flop into the fish pound (making her cry ! Sorry about that) are just some of my favourite memories. In his final days, the hospice provided Howard with comfort and care, and for that we’ll always be grateful.
