Not only will we be proving to ourselves that we can run...we will be fundraising for The Grand Appeal - Bristol Children's Hospital Charity. From the moment a child arrives at the hospital, The Grand Appeal is there. Our support workers offer comfort and advice; we give parents and siblings a free, private and comforting place to stay; provide daily music therapy sessions and arts and play activities; and fund the pioneering equipment and research that save lives. Having worked at The Grand Appeal for over a year now, I see this work first-hand and know how much fundraising makes a difference to the lives of young patients and their families.
