Call me crazy or courageous……but I am walking the GREAT WALL OF CHINA!!

Next year I will be taking on this challenge to support the Kirkwood. I have been a nurse working on the in patient unit for nearly 8 years. For me, this is not just a job, this is a privilege and an honour. I see first hand how our smallest gestures can make the biggest difference to families and patients going through the worst moments of their lives.

This has become a much bigger challenge and so much more important to me since the passing of my Grandad Chris, this is now for him!! Through my knowledge, experience and specialised care, I got to carry him right through to the end, providing a dignified and peaceful death. This is what we, The Kirkwood do. To raise these vital funds for the kirkwood means more families and patients can continue to have the very best care.
