Sands supports anyone affected by the death of a baby, works in partnership with health professionals to try to ensure that bereaved parents and families receive the best possible care and funds research that could help to reduce the numbers of babies dying and families devastated by this tragedy.

Story

When Andrew Mulvenna Hair and Loreal join forces anything is possible !

Mel and myself are running the Belfast city Marathon this year. Training has been tough and I think I can safely say our passion and love for running has somewhat depleted 🙄

That said we are driven to push on as we are running in memory of all the babies and children that sadly left our world too soon, one precious little lady in particular.

We are running for Sands , which is an unbelievable charity that works to support anyone affected by the death of a baby .

We are also running for The Butterfly mums 🦋. An absolutely amazing group that was set up and is ran by our very own style director Sheena !

The Butterfly mums group is local to Sheena and offers support , a safe space to talk and share your experience and a group that makes sure you know you are not in this journey alone .

You can donate to sands by clicking this link or alternatively you can donate to The Butterfly mums group in salon.

Isla Rose the strength you have given your mummy is immeasurable and so beautiful , allowing her to share and to help so many people. I’ll be thinking of you on the 5th of May and hoping you’ll share some of that powerful strength we me too ❤️❤️
