Story
I'm excited to share that I'll be participating in the iconic London to Brighton bike ride on Sunday 15 September! This long-distance cycling event is a challenge I'm really looking forward to, as it spans roughly 55 miles from the bustling Clapham Common in London, to the finish line on Madeira Drive, Brighton's seafront. The ride will take me through some beautiful English countryside, but it's not just the thrill of the journey that motivates me—I'm doing this to make a difference.
I'll be fundraising for the Mulwade Foundation, an LGBTQ+ charity of which I am a trustee, and a cause close to my heart. The Mulwade Foundation's mission is to create lasting, positive change by assisting and empowering individuals living with HIV. Mulwade does this through raising awareness and challenging HIV-related stigma, and through a combination of strategic partnerships, innovative programs, and an unwavering commitment to address one of the most pressing social and educational challenges of our time, and I'm proud to contribute to their efforts. Every mile I ride will be dedicated to raising awareness and funds for this fantastic organization, and I hope to rally support from friends, family, and colleagues.
Your encouragement and donations will not only help me reach the finish line but will also go a long way in supporting the important work of the Mulwade Foundation. Whether it's a small contribution or simply spreading the word, any support will make a significant impact. Thank you in advance for your generosity—let's make this ride one to remember!
