Hi I’m Leanne, and as a medical parent I know how important it is to have access to quality medical care for our children. That's why I'm participating in the Great Manchester Run 10K 2024 to support MFT Charity and their mission to provide excellent treatment, research, and care for over 280,000 patients at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital.

My 3 year old son has Down Syndrome and other medically complex needs, which means we've spent a lot of time at the hospital over the past few years. The staff there have been incredible in looking after my precious boy through surgeries, admissions, and ongoing care. I want to give back by raising funds for this amazing hospital that has become our second home. 🥹
