Me and Louie (aged 3) are going to be walking the equivalent to a marathon between the 1st and 25th of December.

I like to try and do something in December for charity and this year we've chosen Young Lives vs Cancer because unfortunately I've seen first hand the devastation that this disease causes,but for a child to have to go through this is just unimaginable as a parent I can only imagine the pain of seeing your child have to endure such an awful, scary experience. Unfortunately my friend has had to endure the devastation of this disease and her brave, beautiful boy grew his wings on the 13th of November.

When we signed up to do this walk we didn't think we'd be walking in memory of Conor but we are and we will remember him and to motivate us on the cold dark nights. We'll also remind ourselves how lucky we are that we have the health to be able to do this and not stuck in a hospital bed with wires and tubes, full of worry and dread.

We want to help as many children and families this Christmas as we possibly can, it could be their last Christmas together and we hope this money raised can help as many ill children as possible to have a magical Christmas.
