Story
Hope Against Cancer is a Leicestershire and Rutland charity dedicated to funding life-saving research and improving treatment for people affected by cancer, making a real difference to patients and families in our community.
That’s why in June 2026, I’ll be taking on a skydive in support of this incredible cause, turning a personal challenge into something that can help others.
Skydiving has always been one of those “one day” goals on my bucket list, exciting, slightly terrifying, and unforgettable. I’d been thinking about doing it for a while, and then, by chance, Sue from Hope Against Cancer walked into the shop and asked if I’d ever consider doing it for charity. I didn’t hesitate, it just felt right. It became the perfect opportunity to take that leap while supporting something so important.
Cancer affects all of us in some way. Whether it’s a friend, a family member, or someone close to us who has faced the fight, or sadly, someone we’ve lost, its impact is something so many of us understand.
Please consider donating if you can and if not, sharing this page would mean just as much. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps support the amazing work Hope Against Cancer does and brings hope to those who need it most.
Thank you so much for your support, it truly means a lot.
