Story
London Marathon 2026
This year, I’ve decided to do something that feels both terrifying and deeply meaningful. I’m running the London Marathon.
It’s the hardest challenge I’ve ever set myself, not just physically but emotionally too. The past year has tested me in ways I never expected, and running is where I reflect, heal and move forward.
I’m running for Child Bereavement UK, a charity that supports families through heartbreak no one should ever have to face. Their work helps parents and children find hope in the darkest times, and it’s a cause that means more to me than I can put into words.
Every mile of this marathon will be for something bigger; for love, for healing, and for all the families learning to live around loss.
Training won’t be easy. There will be moments when I’ll want to stop, but I’ll keep going because this journey isn’t just about running. It’s about rebuilding, honouring, and finding spark again.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, it would mean so much to me. Your support will help Child Bereavement UK continue their incredible work for families who need it most.
Thank you for supporting me, for every kind word, every bit of encouragement, and every reminder that even after the hardest times, we can still find our way forward.
With love,
Leanne 💙
