Great Scottish Run 2024 · 6 October 2024 ·

Sense Scotland is a Scottish charity and specialised social care provider supporting people with communication support needs associated with complex and sensory disabilities, and their families, where individual needs and choices come first.

Story

We're aiming to raise funds towards accessible transport for the Learning Hub based at Sense Scotland's Touchbase by running a sponsored half marathon at the Great Scottish Run on 6th October 2024!

It's essential for our learners to explore their community, embrace the outdoors and pursue meaningful activities through life-changing trips and adventures together. By having this transport at the Learning Hub, we can make this all possible!

What is the Learning Hub?

The Learning Hub is a programme aimed to bridge the gap for learners with additional support needs to help each individual reach their potential in the transition between post-school life in preparation for adulthood. We support our learners to develop and build on their skills, achieve their long-term goals, gain qualifications and experience whilst promoting social inclusion and friendship development.
