Story

Thank you for taking the time to support our mission to raise awareness about Motor Neurone Disease and the incredible work of the MND Association (MNDA).

We are proud to bring our two remarkable fundraising groups formed in memory and support of two inspiring individuals. The first, honouring Carol King, who faced MND with a resilient and positive spirit, often saying, "We'll be alright," continues her legacy by inspiring her loved ones to raise awareness and funds. The second is King George, with his "Helping Hands", to emphasise the vital support needed for those battling MND. George has the most infectious spirit and, although currently suffering from MND, is still fighting to bring the same energy he always has.

These groups share a special bond. Although they are separate families, Carol and George’s grandchildren not only attend the same primary school but are also in the same classes. This connection makes "We'll Be Alright" and "Helping Hands" especially meaningful as symbols of hope and unity for all those seeking support from the MNDA.

A special message to everyone affected by MND is “We’ll be alright as we have Helping Hands”

The MND Association is dedicated to improving access to care, funding research, and advocating for those affected by MND across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Your contributions will directly impact those living with this disease by supporting us.
