Our beautiful, charming, intelligent, creative, funny, talented and kind son Xabi was diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder in December and we are trying to navigate life with the health condition and to be as loving and supportive a family as we can be to help him live with the challenges that this brings.

FND is a neurological condition that means that Xabi’s brain misfires signals causing him episodes of losses of consciousness.

This affects Xabi’s daily life and is a journey we are trying to help him through day by day as we learn to live with the new normal of his invisible disability.
