We’re taking on the Manchester Marathon to raise funds for East Lancashire Hospice, a charity that provides outstanding care and support to local people living with life-limiting illnesses and to their families when they need it most. It costs millions of pounds each year to keep the hospice running, with the majority of that funding coming from donations and community support. The hospice offers specialist palliative care, pain management, emotional support, and bereavement services, ensuring patients are treated with dignity, compassion and comfort. By running 26.2 miles, we hope to play a small part in helping them continue their vital work for families across East Lancashire.
