I have known the Hewitt family for over 30 years, and upon hearing the sad passing of Kelly in 2018, it made me realise how vulnerable people can be, despite their smiles and laughter, and I wanted to make my contribution to the charity.

As a trustee and supporter, I am honoured to be part of Kelly’s Heroes, and in 2022, I cycled coast to coast across the USA in memory of Kelly, with 11 other incredible cyclists, raising awareness and much needed funds to support the wonderful work the charity does. As a proud trustee, I’ve seen how our charity can changes lives.

This summer, I am back in the saddle, as I am joined by 10 other riders, to cycle from Gibraltar to the UK, over 14 days, across Spain and France. From Rock Bottom is more than a name, it’s a statement, as we ride for those who’ve hit their lowest point, and battling in silence. For them, they are not alone.

Every climb, every mile, every tough day in the saddle is a tribute to Kelly and to every person who find themselves fighting through their darkest moments.
