We are a team of 10 colleagues from Westwood Lodge Care Home that are taking part in the Snowden Sunrise Trek for the Hospice.

As a general nursing home we have a close working relationship with the Hospice, who help us to provide high quality end of life care for our residents and provide numerous training opportunities for all our staff.

Some of us taking part also have personal reasons to take on the challenge, having had family members that have been cared for at the Hospice and seen their amazing work first hand. We also have a participant who was a volunteer on the inpatient unit for 3 years.
