I have been given the opportunity to represent Rainbow Valley and run in the TSB London Marathon 2025. Rainbow Valley is inspired by the vision of my cousin Johanna MacVicar, who, in 1994, aged 16 years, was diagnosed with leukaemia. Although my memories of Johanna are very limited, her memory and legacy has always been prevalent in my life. My mum and my Auntie Angela especially have not let Johanna’s memory fade with constant stories and endless fundraising. The work that is involved in making the charity a success is endless and this is my small way in making that a little easier - so any donation or share is greatly appreciated.
