Campaign by Harmeny Education Trust (RCN SC024256)
To close the gap to our £3.1m target! Can you help us raise £100K in June to support our #LearningForLifeAppeal and build our new Learning Hub this summer to ensure that young people get the spaces, support and opportunities they need to thrive.

Story

Imagine a child who has endured unimaginable pain and trauma in their early years. Their innocence stolen, their trust shattered. These children and teenagers face uphill battles every day as they strive to overcome their past and find hope for a better future.

Now, picture yourself standing at the foot of Ben Nevis, the towering giant that represents the challenges these young souls face. You take a deep breath, summoning every ounce of courage within you, knowing that with each step you climb, you are making a difference in their lives.

By partnering with TClarke for Harmeny in Edinburgh, we are embarking on a mission to support and rehabilitate these precious souls. Harmeny, a beacon of light for those who have suffered, is dedicated to providing the skills, support, and opportunities these young individuals desperately need to heal and thrive.

Through the funds we raise from conquering Ben Nevis, we will directly contribute to Harmeny Education Trust's Learning for Life Appeal. Together, we will help construct new secondary learning facilities that extend Harmeny's capacity, support, and reach. These new spaces will become sanctuaries of growth and transformation, where lives can be rebuilt and futures reshaped.

You see, Harmeny's current learning spaces are only suitable for children up to the age of 14. But our collective efforts will change that. We will build a new Learning Hub that supports learning up to the age of 18, preventing these vulnerable young people from having to leave Harmeny before they are ready.

In this nurturing environment, they will rediscover their stolen childhoods. They will find the companionship of friends who understand their struggles. They will build confidence, piece by piece. And most importantly, they will gain the essential life and work skills needed to break free from the chains of their past.

But we cannot achieve this without your support. We are a heartbeat away from reaching our goal. Harmeny Education Trust's Learning for Life Appeal needs £3.1 million to complete the new Learning Hub, and we are so close. With over £2.8 million already secured, we have the power to make their dreams a reality in the very near future.

When you contribute to the Harmeny Education Trust's Learning for Life Appeal, you become a lifeline for these vulnerable children. Your generosity doesn't just fund the construction of new secondary learning facilities; it expands Harmeny's capacity, enhances its support, and widens its reach. Together, we have the power to rewrite the stories of these young lives, giving them the tools and opportunities they need to create a brighter future

So, let us join hands, hearts beating as one, and ascend the mighty Ben Nevis. Together, we will conquer the mountain and conquer the challenges faced by these remarkable children. With each step, we are bringing hope, healing, and transformation to their lives.
