Ultra Marathon for The Positivitree

Lee Wellens is raising money for The Positivitree

Ultra Marathon · 15 November 2025

Giving access to self-care skills & experiences that improve mental health & wellbeing, to families of children with additional needs & disabilities.

Story

I’m running 60km (37 miles) around the Wirral for The Positivitree on 15th November 2025.

The charity I’m supporting was chosen by my daughter, Ava. One of her school friends is the daughter of Rachel Daley, who founded The Positivitree after her son was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer at just three years old.

Based in Wirral, The Positivitree supports parents and carers raising children (of any age) with additional needs or medical conditions. They run support groups, coffee mornings, and provide a safe, welcoming space for families to connect, share, and be heard. It’s a free, accessible service – and they’ve just been nominated again for the National Diversity Awards 2025.

🎯 My target is £1,000, and every penny raised will go directly to The Positivitree and the families they support.
