Story
Thanks to the air ambulance in Warwickshire on Thursday 19th September Lee was taken to Coventry hospital in under 7 minutes where he has been receiving lifesaving care following a crash on his mountain bike.
As a team, consisting of:
Lee Atkinson
Bex Jones
Paul Atkinson
Andy Kidson
Alan Lund
Russ Small
We're aiming to cycle through the Cotswold / Worcestershire area achieving north of 100 miles in 1 day.
Any donation will help in the fight to keep the non-government funded air ambulance flying.
Let's aim for 4 flights 😍😍
Ps Lee will actually be participating in the ride himself after a remarkable recovery from 100% paralysis from the neck down to almost a full recovery.
It costs around £1700 for each flight and they are not funded in any other way than by donations.
The Air Ambulance Service operates the local air ambulance services for Warwickshire & Northamptonshire and Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland as well as the national paediatric and neonatal transfer service, the Children’s Air Ambulance, covering the whole of the UK.
The Air Ambulance Service does not receive funding from the government for its daily missions. It relies entirely on voluntary donations and support from our communities and business
Your support will help keep them flying.
